- Do you charge for a quotation?
- No. Quotations are free and there is no obligation to go ahead. Tell us what needs doing and we'll come back with a clear price.
- What areas do you cover?
- We're based in Crookstown, Co. Cork and work across Cork city centre, Crosshaven, Rochestown, Bandon, Macroom and the surrounding areas. If you're just outside that, ask and we'll let you know.
- How do I know if my heating needs a power flush?
- If a radiator is hot at the bottom but cold on top and in the middle — or the other way around — black sludge is blocking it. Rooms that take a long time to heat, noisy pipes or a boiler that keeps cutting out point the same way. A power flush clears the sludge causing it.
- Can power flushing save me money on heating bills?
- Yes. Flushing your heating system can save you up to €500–€1,000 a year on heating bills, especially when a MagnaClean magnetic filter is fitted at the same time.
- What is a magnetic filter and heating inhibitor?
- A MagnaClean magnetic filter catches the debris that would otherwise build up again, and MagnaClean heating inhibitor keeps the system water clean after the system is flushed. The filter is cleaned annually when your boiler is serviced.
- Do you replace both gas and oil boilers?
- Yes. We replace gas and oil boilers, including external oil units, and set up all pipework, controls and commissioning as part of the job.
- How long does a boiler replacement take?
- Most straightforward replacements are completed in a day. If pipework needs altering or a power flush is required first, we'll tell you before the work is booked in.
- Do you handle full bathroom renovations?
- Yes. We handle the plumbing side from first fix through to fitting showers, baths, basins and WCs, working to your layout and budget.
- How much experience do you have?
- 44 years of hands-on plumbing and heating work. You deal directly with the tradesman carrying out the job.
